but for hong kong english, mostly the influence of chinese over english is on the pronaciation.
following are some examples:
-v sounds like W, since there is no 'v' in chinese languages.
-n sounds like l
bad bed sounds the same.
-z sounds like jee-zed

gramatially,
-confusing or ommiting articles like "a" /"the"
-confusion with verb tenses
-plural and singular forms tend to be confused
-"acturally" is used more often than it supporsed to.
-'there is" becomes "there has". a directly translation from chinese
