Abstract: The thesis mainly discusses and researches the utilization of the sysem of shelf in automated warehouse, with examples of both functions and usage of all kinds of shelves. Concentrating on the analysis of characteristics and advantages of throught shelf and gravity shelf in concept, which are the most commen, on the basic of this, related designation of through shelf was raised. At last, the choosing of shelves in warehouse was annalysed with the examples according to the principle of applicability and economic principle.
