摘 要：局域网是网络的一大分支，应用非常广泛。随着社会的发展，人们越来越意识到网络的重要性，通过网络，人们拉近了彼此之间的距离。本来分散在各处的计算机被网络紧紧的联系在了一起。局域网做为网络的组成部分，发挥了不可忽视的作用。我们可以用Windows操作系统把众多的计算机联系在一起，组成一个局域网，在这个局域网中，我们可以共享程序、文档资料等各种资源，而不必再互相传递u盘；还可以通过网络使多台计算机共享同一硬件，如打印机等；同时我们也可以通过网络使用计算机发送和接收传真，方便快捷而且经济。

LAN is a great branch of the network, it applies in a wide range of area. with the development of society, more and more people are aware of the importance of network. The distance between people are shrunk through network, which connects many computers that are separated in different places. As a part of network, LAN plays an indispensable role in it. We can connect a great nunber of computers toghther with Windows operating system to form a LAN in which we can share programs,files and other resources rather than use a flash disc. Besides, LAN can also help several computers share the same hardware, e.g. a printer. and we can use computers to send or receive foxes through network which is convinient, fast and economic.
