个人觉得就说his proof for this theory is correct(或者用fine,perfect,completely logical……都行）就好了，一楼的意思理解错了，二楼的有点硬了，deduction没有翻出来的必要，maxim这个词似乎用在科学上较少啊，而且不是"should be correct"，就是“correct"
