Talking about my hometown, people will think of the big snowstorm. In that disaster, we lived without water and electricity. But it is also beacause of such rough situation, we have become even stronger. Having overcome the snowstorm,I believe that I can succeed in passing this interview because I learned that"life can change what you are but not who you are.Once we have faith in ourselves,we can achieve our goals.

At the mention of my homeland,i thought about the winter storms,we got power-cut water-cut ,life turned tough, however we learned to be strong and finally conquered this.i believe i can eventually win out in this interview,because i leant to be strong.

Talking of my hometown, I can not forget the snow storm of this winter. As a result of it, our water and electricity supply were cut off, and life has been really hard. However, it was in such harsh environment that we become more sober-minded. We have overcome the difficulties broght by the snow storm. And I have the confidence, which is the most valuable thing I have learnt these days, to succeed in the interview,

帮你看了一下, 你的版本里面有两个小问题.
在I believe that I can succeed in passing this interview because I learned that...
这个句子里,
in后的passing可以省略.
因为 succeed in sth就是表达成功的意思.
而pass一般在通过考试(而非面试)时用.
because I learned that建议用完成时, 而非一般现
