这句圣经经文应如何解释?

含义很多，我认为是告诉西门不要看别人榜样，别人的路不是自己走的路，也暗示西门心里还有邪念

耶稣的意思是：你别管他的下场，你我的关系，在乎你我，跟他一点关系也没有，要紧的是，你自己对我的回应。

要读得明白，请参考KJV版的圣经：

20。Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee?

21。Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?

22。Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me.

23。Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee?

你那段句子，出现两次，21：22和21：23。但中文版的圣经，胡乱翻译，21：20翻译乱了；21：23则胡乱翻译。

要解释这几句经文，还得从犹大福音说起。

犹大福音说犹大是奉耶稣的命令去进行一项计划（阴谋）。而四福音则说犹大背叛耶稣。

可是若根据〈约21：20-23〉，彼得看到那个耶稣喜爱的门徒跟在耶稣的后头，就问耶稣将来要怎样处置他，（因为彼得看到他在晚餐时曾经靠在耶稣的胸膛问耶稣：谁来背叛你？）。耶稣很不耐烦地回答：“若我要他呆着，等到我来，这与你何干？你跟从我（的命令）。”
