Global warming, ozone action days, beach closings... some days the environment doesn't look like it's doing too well, and you might think, "What can one person possibly do to help?" Don't lose hope. Our waterways are cleaner than they were 30 years ago and we now recycle 10 times the mixed waste paper than we did 10 years ago. (Does your school recycle its paper?) The timber wolf, bald eagle, and wild turkey, animals that all but disappeared from this state, are now back in Wisconsin and doing great.
