if 和whether都作是否讲的时候怎么区分

宾语从句中，连词if、whether，它们起连接作用，在从句中不作句子成分，作“是否”解，再口语中多用if
一般情况下，if和whether可以互换，单以下几种情况只能用whether：
1、再不定式前：Whether to go there or not hasn't been decided.
2、在介词前：It depends on whether it is going to rain.
3、在选择疑问句中：They are talking about whether to go there or not.
4、 当宾语从句提到句首时：Whether it is true or not,I can’t tell.
5、少数动词前：We are discussing whether we should do it.
总之，在你吃不准的情况下，whether永远优先。
