请问climb和climb up有什么区别？请举例说明（至少3个）并著名资料出处！

I climb a tree.我在爬树

I climb up a tree.我爬到树上

up是介词,这里指引方位,其他还有:

climb through a hole 爬过一个洞

climb down the roof 从屋顶爬下来

(examples quoted from Longman Dictionary)

Climb - I climb the stairs to the top of the building

Climb up - I climb up the ladder to the roof of my house.
