Many happy hours she had spent planning for something nice for him.这是the gifts of the Magi麦琪的礼物里面的一句话，这里为了强调宾语many happy hours而被提前，但had并没有被提前。

这句好像不是倒装啊，many happy hours是主语把

she had spent many happy hours,planning something nice for him.
