“ Huan” is my favorite. He is the eldest brother of the five. He is the symbol of the flame. He also means higher, swifter and stronger. I am sure that our Chinese athletes will gain many more achievements in 2008 Olympic Games in our own country.

这个应该是过去完成时had been waiting因为是在成功申办之前一直在等待这个机会。
2.in 2008 Olympic Games -in the 2008 Olympic Games
3.Now The exciting time is closer and closer-Now the exciting moment is drawing nearer and nearer.
4.weave a peaceful and wonderful dream这个应该是汉语的说法--realise a peaceful and wonderful dream
