abnomal和anomalous的区别

abnormal有“变态”的意义，有贬义。
anomalous只是表示与标准状态不一样，无感情色彩。

abnormal: ORIGIN mid 19th cent.: alteration (by association with Latin abnormis ‘monstrosity’ ) of 16th-cent. anormal, from French, variant of anomal, via Latin from Greek anōmalos (see anomalous ).

所以这两个词语来源是相同的
根据个人理解，abnormal是偏离常态，deviate from the usual/normal status
而anomalous则是偏离标准状态，deviate from the standard.

主要是搭配习惯不一样：
abnormal
adj different, esp in an undesirable way, from what is normal, ordinary or expected 反常的; 不正常的; 变态的: abnormal specimens, weather conditions, behaviour 异常的样品、 反常的天气、 变态行为 * be physically/mentally abnormal 身体上[精神上]不正常. >

anomalous
adj different from what is normal; irregular 异常的; 不规则的: He is in an anomalous position as the only part-time worker in the firm. 他与众不同, 是公司里唯一的兼职人员.
