美国人不喜欢Wal-Mart???

今天看21世纪英文报，4月2日的，里面有一句
if you say"I don't recycle",it is almost as bad as telling people"i don't vote"or "i shop at wal-mart"or "i have no social conscience"
you谁能告诉我，为什么？，谢谢！
后面一段提到，for many Americans today,recycling has become a symbol of a person's social responsibility,just like voting for the president or hating Wal-Mart.

Wal-Mart在美国被称为"穷人店"和"黑鬼店",自然是不合文中动辄"政治上正确"的人口味的,会觉得丢面子.
但它确实是零售业销售额的老大.

文中指的人,是部分美国人,不是多数美国人.

也许是Wal-Mart有些做法不符合环保因此"政治上不正确",但这只是一种时髦而已.就象国内的家乐福绝不会在1年后破产一样.
