某日，我在书中读到这样一句话：
This embarrassment taught me not to try to impress others or I might end up making a fool out of myself.
通过查字典，我发现make a fool of oneself是“出丑”的意思
但是这里为什么用 “out of myself”？

Make a fool (out) of oneself/sb – To make oneself or somebody look stupid or ridiculous.
out可以省略的，其实就是make a fool of oneself
Examples:
