数控机床非常适合那些形状复杂，精密和批量好的零件加工，而一般的普通机床根本无法满足这个要求，就连仿形机床和组合机床也解决不了高精度与小批量这个矛盾。因此，数控加工非常适合航空航天，电力，交通和电子等制造业的零件加工技术

Abstract

Computer Numerical Control is a kind of automatic control technology. It is a method of using digitized information to control a certain process. The whole set of device to achieve numerical control by using this method is called numerical control system.

A CNC machine is a high efficient automatic equipment to make the parts automatically according to the previously compiled numerical control program. The ideal numerical control program should not only assure the parts to be qualified to the drawing and sample, but should also make full and reasonable use of the CNC machine so that it can keep working safely, reliablely and high-efficiently.

The CNC machine is quite fit for the components with complicated shape, high precision requirement but small quantity, while the common machine can never meet these requirements.
