Swots, Bookworms and Nerds
Swots, bookworms, and nerds are all terms for students who spend most of their time with their noses stuck in their schoolbooks. They are called swots in Britain, nerds in America, and bookworms in both places. All that reading and studying may get them good grades but they aren’t usually the most admired kids in school.
