随着中国加入WTO，中美两国在经贸关系迅猛发展，双边贸易和投资进入了一个新的发展时期的同时，美国已成为中国的第二大贸易伙伴和第一大出口国，中国也成为美国的第三大贸易伙伴。特别是2005年纺织品配额取消后，纺织品贸易的发展倍受关注。中美间的贸易飞速发展的同时也存在许多摩擦和争端，如美国频频对中国的产品设限，经常对来自于中国的产品发动反倾销调查，尤其是以纺织品的争端最为突出。本文以中美纺织品贸易争端为切入点，分析了中美纺织品的摩擦不仅仅是因为中美间贸易不平衡，而是美国国内更深层的经济和政治原因，还有我国方面的一些原因，深刻认识到这些原因，对中国纺织业的发展，以及中美经贸关系的发展有重要意义。
With China entering into WTO, China-America’ s trade is developing rapidly, mutual trade and investment enters a new phase. America has been the second biggest trade companion and the biggest export country of China. China has been the third trade companion of America. Specially, the development of textile trade has been paid much attention since the textile quota was cancelled in 2005. However, even China-America trade is growing rapidly ,many conflictions and controversies also exist. For example, America frequently sets up many limitations and investigates about anti-dumping on Chinese products. This paper will be considered textile trade controversy as a cut-in, by analyzing the reasons of textile trade conflictions between China and America, It is not only due to the imbalance of China-America trade, but also more profound national economic and political reasons in America, furthermore, some reasons of our own.
