不可以，这种从句你分不清的时候教给你个简单的办法，你把前面特指的名词（THE WAY）代入后面的从句,即，He talked about the way, it was important to us.如果去掉About,改变了原句的意思，所以不能去掉About.

另外纠正楼上的，in which，是从句中特有的疑问代词组合。 about which 这个结构本来就是错误的。
