<2> 定语从句还原成普通语序时 是 they drank all the wime I had during three weeks' time 还是 they drank all the wime I had during three weeks ?

如果 句子换成They stayed with me in Second World, during which time they drank all the wind I had.
要加time 吗

--------不是因为他们是废柴，这个问题就是语法专家也不太解释的清。
其实语法本身就是人为的将一些看起来有规律的东西进行归类，实在归类不了的就当作是特例。我相信你也见过不少。
你如果未来想研究语言现象的话，你可以一直这么专研语法，就像我们这说的“扣”语法。
但如果你只是想借助语法来学习英语，运用英语。我个人认为你已经进入了一个误区了。很多东西只是个现象，不太好理解的就当特例记好了。
你说的这个句子是介词+关系代词的结构。这里的which是做定语的。不知道你是什么年级的，这个东西在高中考就有点偏了，不过在有一年的高考题中考过一次。
类似的句子也有：
Water boils at 100C, at which temperature it changes go gas.
Jane spent four years in college, during which time she studied medicine.
你另一个地方的回答我也看了，你选的那个最佳答案的解释也是对某些句子进行的总结，归类。但并不适用于所有的。
