小弟初学英语有几个疑问,希望高手解答!!!跪谢~

求分析，我选的是A但错了，答案是D
在这里what made matters 是主语从句。 既然是句子就必须得有主语，所以what是代词，充当句子的主语，表示“更糟糕的事情”
如果你选it 的话，那么it 必须代指一个物，这里缺少代指的物，所以不能用it 。

2.In the Middle Ages people believed it was the earth ,not the sun , ____the center of our planetary system 。
“人到中年就认为是地球了，而不再是银河系的中心，太阳。”

强调句的结构是it was---that---。
强调句的特点是你把it was---that都干掉，句子仍然成立。
In the Middle Ages people believed the earth ,not the sun ,was the center of our planetary system 。

选A的话，谓语动词就在that的前面，强调句只能强调一个，这里是主语。 所以放谓语在前面就错了。 若选D的话，那么believed后面的句子就缺谓语，也不符合句子结构。
