帮我修改一篇英语日记

Today,i am unhappy.Because i caught a serious a cold yesterday.i find that i can't catch up with others'progress.i will look after myself,but i just want someone to give me a sincere regard. 我想学着写英语,不知这有没有错,希望高手能修改一下,还有就是写日记有什么技巧呢?

其实写英语日记
应该多尝试一些高难度的句子（比如用些从句，短语等等）
不应该停在很简单的句子上面
对了
写英文作文的时候还要注意用词语(连接词）来转折
不然读起来不顺口。

unhappy 可以改成depressed
就是说可以写I feel a little depressed today.
因为这个日记的逻辑有点怪 后面我就不改了...
