北京城郊职业高中生作为一个特殊的群体，随着改革开放以来各种思潮涌入，他们的思想观念、道德观念和价值取向有了很大的变化，对此进行调查研究，以利于加强对职业高中生的思想道德教育，切实提高学生思想政治工作。参照相关材料，结合调查目的，笔者整理了座谈大纲，并编写《城郊职业高中生思想政治教育现状调查问卷》，利用课余时间对北京城郊职业高中生进行调查。调查结果与分析：（1）北京城郊职业高中生的基本情况、（2）北京城郊职业高中教育现状、（3）北京城郊职业高中生道德品质现状、（4）道德规范方面的基本情况、（5）人生观和价值观方面的基本情况。北京城郊职业高中生思想政治教育存在的主要问题：（1）人生观的迷失、（2）价值观的多元化、（3）道德认知与行为的差距。北京城郊职业高中生思想政治教育状况的原因：（1）社会环境的影响、（2）学校教育的偏失、（3）、家庭教育的缺乏、（4）网络对职高生的影响也不容忽视。北京城郊职业高中生思想政治教育应遵循的原则：（1）以学生发展为本，关注学生的全面发展、（2）以学生发展为本，培养健全的道德人格、（3）以学生发展为本，真正实现学生的自我教育。针对北京城郊职业高中生思想政治教育的对策：（1）积极改进课堂教学、（2）加强校园文化建设、（3）全员施教，发挥职高生道德教育的整合力。
