英语的主句?从句?

注意：凡是有连接代词who,whom,whose,which,how many,how much,连接副词when ,where,why,how,how often,how long,以及if,whether,as,since ,until,as soon as等连接的句子都是从句,那么，另一个句子就是主句。
(I was cooking) while (he was reading).
主句 从句
(I played the violin) when( the alarm went off).

都是前一个括号的是主句，后面的是从句，因为句子主要说的是前面括号的内容，而且when是引导时间状语从句的，当然它后面的是从句啦

I was cooking是主句, while (he was reading)是时间状语从句.
i played the violin) when( the alarm went off). 这句不是复合句而是并列句.when是并列连词,意思是:这时,相当于and at the same time.
