摘 要：家庭是对孩子进行启蒙教育的最主要场所，是孩子们成长的起点，家庭教育的好坏影响着孩子的成长。从目前我国的实际情况看，家庭教育仍是一个薄弱的环节，尤其是随着西方教育思想的传入，中国家长面对传统与现代家教思想，表现出无所适从的无奈。本文中西家庭教育的差异做了一般性的比较，并对其进行原因分析。中西家庭教育各有优劣，我们应该祛除糟粕，取其精华，不失时机地推进家庭教育的进步，各自取长补短，共同发展。
