不同类型的土地生态系统服务价值也不同，研究表明水域的单位生态价值是最高的，其次是林地。资兴市水域和林地的生态服务贡献率占到了95%以上，计算后得到资兴的生态服务价值总量8年间增加了0.29%，而GDP却增加了2.36倍，由此可见生态服务价值并没随经济的快速发展而快速地增加。其中，林地和水域面积增加了，生态服务价值也相应增加；耕地面积减少得较多，致使其生态服务价值大幅下降，但由于其面积比重小，对生态服务总值影响不大。
资兴市近年发展得非常快，土地的变化速度也在加快，如何更好的规划好土地，并保护好生态环境，使土地的生态服务价值能和社会经济同步地快速发展，是资兴市未来土地规划的重要方向。
