这句英语中的这个单词为什么加ed?

recognized 不用翻译，句子挺简单的，就是为什么recognize加d了？过去时？不对，这不是过去时，为什么？

become和be都是系动词，在这里和be后面用法一样，表示“认识到”，be done

因为recognize这个动作不是那个“a person”做的....
那个“a person”是被recognize...所以要加"d"...
