Since 1970s,trade protectionism has changed from troditional single form of customs barrier to various kinds of new protection with other complex methods today. With the rapid development of Chinese economy ,further opening to the outside world and improvement of international status,China is having more and more contact with other main trading parteners .However, at the same time,the disputes are sharply increasing,especially after the ecnomic crisis.Nowadays the world economy is in hibernation and new trade protectionism is waiting its time which has widely atracted people's attention.The article introduces the new trade protectionism under the economic crisis which involves the origin ,manifestation,characters and its development.Further more,the text has discussed the reason and the effects of the new trade protectionism ,and provides suggestions.
