This paper starts from the cultural origin about monsters in China and the states’ online games, through different figure and actions to reflect cultural differences, and use Chinese classic online game-- “The Legend of Enveloped Demons” and the American classic online game--“Diablo2: The Lord of Destruction” as examples, Though compare with different figure and actions of monsters in the two games, thus found the reason why monsters in classic online games of Chinese and the US have differences is because those two nation have different cultural background, Religion Sources, and different individuality of nations.
