Research problem
Implementation of a vendor development approach depends on the structure of an organisation, demand chain, financial considerations and personnel utilisation. 2，发展供应商计划因为缺少内部的专业知识和顾问而不能满足客户的需求。
3，在某些特殊的企业或者是有特殊需要的部门，供应商的评价和重组并不简单易行，因为这牵扯到需求链中最终客户们的需求和预期。
因此，满足消费者的需求是一回事，而及时的完全的满足消费者的需求却是另外一回事。是什么左右了原材料的运输，供应还是需求？我们有必要重新分配供应链中的各个部分来满足需求链中的要求。
研究目标
此次研究的目标是：
1，确定供应链中供应商发展策略的优劣
2，以客户的满意度为标准分析供应链中供应商们的能力。
3，评估供应商们与需求链之间的基础沟通的能力
4，探讨供应商发展的影响，并且通过控制需求链来找到一个战略意义上符合条件的供应商。
研究范围
供应链中对原料采购的管理有着几个不同的发展阶段。这项研究的重点在于供应商的发展依赖于供应链与需求链的紧密联系，也是供需中最薄弱的环节。这些范式的转变要纳入需求链与战略采购，管理结构和文化的供应商关系，以及充满活力的内部和外部的组织工作队通过灵活的结构和反应信息系统中的组织，以平衡供应链的能力，满足客户的需求。
