那为什么不用Ving ?

请坐好直到飞机完全停下来。 remain保持 。。状态。直接在后面加形容词。比如 remain good 保持良好状态。 坐这个词，要不然用SIT.要不然用BE SEATED. 所以，选择seated。
分析一个词必须要从词性开始，seat作动词来说是一个及物动词，所以后面是接宾语的，且可用作被动式。
seat sb 的意思即为“让某人坐下”，被动即为相应的“Sb be seated”。
而remain是一个连系动词，后面接形容词。
本题中意思为“在飞机完全停稳前请留在座位上。”座位与人的关系为被动，即用remain seated这样的被动式，可以把SEATED看作一个表状态的形容词“坐着的”。
另外在补充一点 REMAIN TO BE DONE 意思为“```留待```”例如 REMAIN TO BE SEEN 即为“还留待观察”。
