较烫的水：hot water
热水：warm water
烫水和热水的区别就是烫水比热水热。

There are a lot of phrases refering to hot water in China, which means "Kai" does not necessarily mean hot,as "kai shui" refers only to the water which have reached the boiling point, but water being called hot might only because it is at a relatively high temperature.
