英语一般现在表将来问题

months or years go 这个才是before的主句啊 因为解释为 发现那人之前几年几月过去了 那go 是一般现在时啊从句怎么会也用一一般现在时?不是一定要主句是将来时的吗 如 I'll write to you as soon as I arrive there.

句意解释的不对，应该是：这类案件或许会如此的复杂以至于人们通过长年累月才能破解它们
而such crimes才是这句话的主语，go不用一般现在时是因为前面months\years是复数
