慈溪是中国家电器制造业的后起之秀，经过短短十几年的发展，慈溪家电已在国际、国内市场中具备了较强的市场竞争力和较高的市场声誉，并逐渐成为长三角乃至全国的家电制造业基地。
中国慈溪家电博览会已有近10年的承办历史，我们很高兴地看到，历次家电博览会的形式和内容在不断变化、服务功能也在不断强化，特别是在慈溪本土举办的2007、2008两届家电博览会更是取得了空前的成功。
我们由衷地希望慈溪家电产业能够紧紧抓住当前千载难逢的历史机遇，以中国慈溪家电博览会为契机和窗口，搭准当今世界家电行业发展的脉膊，加快促进家电产业做强做大，不仅成为宁波市、浙江省的名片，更要成为中国的名片，并力争建设成为全球的“家电之都”。
