我知道我并不属于成绩优秀的学生，但是经过高考的磨砺也深具奋勇向上的精神。在放假期间，我充分的了解了自身的不足，并下定决心予以改正，努力弥补自身的不足。我对大学生活充满希冀，更愿接受挑战，为日后的学习工作打好基础。
作为一名库克的学生，英语的学习是很重要的，然而我英语匮乏，所以我必须在大一的时候打好功底，无论是书面语，还是口语都必须有牢靠的基础。这样我才能在以后的外教课中不感到困难，保证专业课的顺利。对于英语我必定刻苦专研，但由于自身基础不好，故只能争取在大二的时候过英语四级，以后争取过六级甚至更高级。这些当然不是空谈，每天我6：30起床，除去跑操吃早点的时间，7：15阅读英语至7：45，12：20至1：00做英语练习，9：30至10：50做英语有关事项（特殊情况时间会有所变动）。
当然，我并不会一味的读书，丰富课余生活也是一项挑战。积极的参与学校和社团的活动，广交朋友，是一种学习，是一种能力的体现，也是一种积极乐观的生活态度。在这期间，可以学到体验到书本中不可学到的知识，而这些却是人生中不可或缺的珍宝。
