我在一本杂志上见到这样一个句子：We can see a day where all people live side by side peacefully. 请问为什么这个句子是用where引导而不是用when引导的呢？各位大虾，速速回答！

这儿where 相当于 at, in, or to what situation，即在某种情景之下，并不是表示某个具体的时间。

再如：
Have you ever been in a situation where you know the other person is right yet you cannot agree with him?

这儿用when也完全没有任何问题，意义稍微有点不同而已罢了。

where在此表示程度. 表示大家和平生活的程度或意境.

此处 a day 表示一个情景
相当于 situation 或case`
故用 where

这里不能用when也不能用where!应该用that啦。你不会认为杂志上的都是对的吧。
