three one-inch squares are placed with their bases on line .the center square is lifted out and rptated 45',as shown .then it is centered and lowered into its original location until touches both of the adjoining squares ,how many inches is the point B from the line on which the bases of the original squares were placed ?

如图,中间的那个四边形被提起然后RPTATED(不知是什么).然后把它放去中间并放入它原来的位置直到碰到两个邻近的四边形.
