Maunsell AECOM has been appointed by PDIWT (Planning and Design Institute for Water Transportation headquartered in Beijing) to assist them in the design and construction support of the Da Chang Container Terminal, in Shenzhen. This development in Shekou consists of five berths with a berthing length of 1.8 km and a reclaimed area of 120 Ha.
This assignment follows on from our previous commission with PDIWT in assisting them to bid successfully for the project. The work will require our input and advice on the design, documentation, and work plan undertaken by PDIWT so that it will achieve international standards. No doubt, this assignment will bring us closer to PDIWT whom we have been associating successfully in the past.
The Project Director is Michael Lai and Project Manager is Harris Wong.
