请高手帮我转换两个句子

1）The president asked them to consider this proposal carefully(consideration).即用上consideration这个词转换成同意思的句子。我想这样：The president asked them to take this proposal into consideration.但是，怎么能体现出carefully这个词呢，即把careful放哪个位置较好呢？
2）He was sorry that he had been impolite to her(regret).我想He regretted that he had been impolite to her这样应该行吧，即regret后跟个从句。但He regretted his being impolite to her这样行不行啊？这样怎么体现出后面的过去完成时态呢？

第一个carefully放最后或 careful consideration都可以

第二个He regretted having been impolite to her.
sb regret doing sth.表示后悔已经做过某事。

第一个句子把副词放在最后就可以
第二个句子完全正确，不用体现就能明白

1)The president asked them to carefully take this proposal into consideration.

2)句子正确.要表达完成时态可说:
He regretted having been impolite to her.
