中国零售业全面开放后，外资大举进入，零售行业竞争日益激烈。近几年，广东零售业态发展表现为零售业态多元化，规模迅速提升，形成多种业态并存发展的良好格局。但是，广东零售业态仍然存在政策支持力度小，规模偏小，连锁业规范化水平低，专业人才短缺等迫切需要解决的问题。在经济不断发展、竞争加剧、需求变化等众多因素影响下，广东零售业态呈现出零售企业并购战不断升级，零售业态经营连锁化、规模化，新型业态进不断涌现等新的发展趋势。文章主要是试图通过对广东零售业态现状进行深入的分析，对其现存的问题进行初步的探讨，进而展望零售业态发展新趋势，最后提出在全面开放的大背景广东零售业态的发展对策。
