The customer indicated that there appeared to be a problem with the motor rpm in that the motor might be running too slow…in the range of 140-160. We were unable to confirm this because the customer had installed their own ABB converter and the amperage meter and rpm meter on the haul-off were giving erroneous output when I inspected the machine. Apparently the converter that was shipped with the machine did “not operate properly”, but I did not get complete details on what the customer did to trouble-shoot or attempt to resolve the problem.
