我国自改革开放以来，在经济发展方面取得了令世人瞩目的伟大成绩.然而，随着改革的深入和现代化进程的逐步深化，经济转轨、社会转型和经济全球化正在严重冲击中国的劳动力市场，就业问题已成为中国进入21世纪后所面临的最大挑战.本文分析了中国就业的现状及就业增长与人口经济发展的关系，通过运用统计学知识分析了经济增长对就业的影响，并对我国经济增长与就业的关系作了实证分析及与国际就业弹性系数作了比较，从而使我们对中国目前的就业形势有所了解，并提出有利于解决社会就业问题的建议与设想.

Since our country began the reform and opening policy, we have made outstanding achievement in the economic development.
However, with the reform going deep and the process of modernization gradually getting further, the society change and economic globalization are severely crushing China's labor market. The employment problem has become the biggest challenge for China since the beginning of the 21th Century.
This paper analyzes the current employment status in China and the relationship between employment growth and economic development of population.
By using the statistic theory, it analyzes the impact of economic growth on employment,making a comparison between the demonstration analysis and flexibility index of international employment on the basis of relations between national economic growth and employment.It also puts forward useful suggestions and assumptions on solving the social employment problem.
