Hermetic screw compressors, mainly used in central air-conditioning systems, are designed and simulated mainly on the application of screw compressor theory and principle. The author analyzed the rotor profile according to profile designing principle, selected one-sided asymmetric cycloid (gear/pin arc-shaped profile) as model, and completed rotor profile calculation under given parameters. Rotor structure and materials were designed referring to one-sided asymmetric rotor structure of domestic products, and body structure and materials were designed referring to the basic structure of available compressor types in parallel with considering the effect of fuel injection, then bearings and bracket were designed, finally the overall design of the compressor was completed.
