单片机具有体积小、集成度高、功能强大、抗干扰能力强、可靠性高等特点，因而在工业控制、智能化仪器、通信及家用电器等领域得到广泛应用。而人机接口在单片机的控制系统中占有重要的地位，通过单片机的人机接口设备，向单片机输入命令和数据，了解单片机的状态和显示相关的工作参数。采用单片机对温度进行控制不仅具有控制方便、简单和灵活性大等优点，而且可以大幅度提高被控温度的技术指标，从而能够大大的提高产品的质量和数量。本文以浙江天煌教仪公司生产的THGMW-1型单片机51/96•微机8088三合一实验开发系统为背景，主要介绍了基于80C51单片机的温度程控仪的人机接口的设计，讨论了以80C51单片机为核心，8279可编程键盘/显示器接口芯片作为人机接口，实现对温度的测量、显示和控制，以及与上位PC机的通信，达到人机交互的效果。作为控制系统中的一个典型实验设计，单片机温度控制系统综合运用了单片机原理、自动控制原理、模拟电子技术、数字控制技术、键盘显示技术等诸多方面的知识，是对所学知识的一次综合测试。
