原址为德国总会，民国25年拆除，建中国银行大楼。大楼为钢框架结构，共17层（地下2层），由英商公和洋行和中国设计师陆谦受共同设计，立面是 早期现代派风格，以垂直线条勾勒建筑轮廓，又溶入中国传统建筑风格。外墙用国产花岗石砌成，屋顶采用平缓的四方钻尖形盖绿色琉璃瓦，檐部施以石斗拱装饰， 栏杆花纹及窗格也采用传统装饰，每层两侧有镂空“寿形图案。大门上方饰有孔子周游列国石雕（现已毁），门外有9级石阶，配以2扇紫铜图案雕饰大门。厅内天 花板两侧有八仙过海雕饰（现已毁）。大楼设备精良，地下建有先进的保险库。大楼内装有电梯14部，还有一套子母钟，确保计时准确一致。
十、怡和洋行（今外贸大楼）
该行自开埠初设此，现大楼是民国9年第三次建造。建筑仿照英国文艺复兴时期形式，用科林斯柱式。立面上将1～2层为一组，3～5层为另一组，形成 水平状建筑标线，1～2层的门窗全部采用半圆拱式，配以粗犷大块面花岗石作建筑贴面，具有浓厚罗马大建筑风采。3楼有石栏杆阳台，3～5楼圆柱外侧各有石 雕窗框。大楼装饰精致，窗口四周有多种雕饰，正门两旁有一对大壁灯，2楼中央有一个羊头雕饰。整个建筑给人以典雅、简朴、明朗的感觉。1983年加建2 层。
十一、东方汇理银行（今东方大楼）
大楼建于宣统三年。建筑物以正门为主轴线，形成两边对称，外墙用石块贴面勾勒平整的线条。2根爱奥尼亚巨柱贯通2层，明显地表现了横三段式划分， 底层的基座层和上面的标准层比例和谐，使整幢建筑平衡、匀称，显出法国文艺复兴时期的建筑特征；同时大楼又采用许多巴洛克手法：2楼的廊式阳台，窗架上密 布的装饰，顶部出檐有精致雕刻，入口处拱门上方有曲线状折断山花雕饰等。和谐、匀称、美丽、端庄是该建筑的突出优点。

原英领署办公楼在同治九年遭大火焚毁，现楼是同治十一年重建。成为目前外滩建筑群中建造最早、保存完好的楼房。它是一座典型的英国文艺复兴时期建 筑风格的建筑。文艺复兴式建筑强调水平划分，在建筑轮廓上讲究整齐，统一和条理性。形成和谐、匀称、明朗、简朴的风格。英国领事馆的横线条就给人以突出的 印象，水平向的厚檐，水平向的腰围，使整幢建筑显得平衡、匀称、端庄、厚实。
