Besides studying, I understand the importance of having time to relax. One of my hobbies that I try to make time for is learning the Chinese calligraphy. From childhood I dreamed of becoming a famous calligrapher though it is unpractical nowadays, because I love expressing my sense from that little brush. I also enjoy playing volleyball. I’ve played in various competitions before, and have helped to umpire junior matches at my college.
As to my character and personality, I think I am a pleasant and ambitious young girl. Besides I am very cooperative, conscientious and efficient.
As far as my English is concerned, I believe I am a bit better in listening and reading rather than speaking and writing although the mark of IELTS might reflect differently. My English teacher says that listening and reading are called ‘receptive skills’. Under the influence of Chinese English teaching methodology, many students’ receptive skills are better than productive skills. But now I am tryin
