摘 要
图像增强(image enhancement)是指增强图象中的有用信息,它可以是一个失真的过程,其目的是要增强视觉效果。将原来不清晰的图像变得清晰或强调某些感兴趣的特征,抑制不感兴趣的特征,使之改善图像质量、丰富信息量,加强图像判读和识别效果的图像处理方法。
第一章先介绍了小波算法的发展史和在现实中的应用。然后分析几种小波变换的方法,包括连续小波变换,离散小波变换和二维离散小波变换。在本课题的实验中,正是用的其中的二维离散小波变换。
第二章简单介绍了图像增强的两类方法:空间域法和频域(增强)法。关于图像增强的进一步讨论在第三章中将在MATLAB的环境下进行。
第三章先对MATLAB的发展做简单介绍并着重介绍它在各领域的长处。接着重点研究图像的灰度级修正,并给出各种算法的MATLAB程序及运行结果。在加深理论知识的基础上进一步熟悉MATLAB的使用。
最后附上实验的三段程序:二维离散小波变换,基于DWT的图像自适应增强和提高视觉质量并输出。
