本文根据唐山南堡地区土壤的实际情况,选取不同浓度的碱性盐(NaHCO3)在实验室内模拟盐碱胁迫条件,对十种植物材料的种子进行处理,研究不同盐碱浓度对不同植物种子萌发过程的影响,希望通过种子发芽率、幼苗的根长、苗高、根数、幼苗叶片数等指标,分析宿根花卉和草坪草种子的耐盐碱情况,发掘和应用最适宜生长在盐碱、瘠薄环境中的宿根观赏植物种类,为盐碱地区绿化先锋植物的选择提供有效的依据。同时,采用盐碱地区的原土和改良土进行穴盘播种试验,得到的发芽率与温室试验种子的发芽率进行比较,对比它们结果的异同,从而考查室内实验数据能否为今后盐碱地区实地应用提供有效的参考。试验结果表明:(1)大多植物种子的发芽率是随盐碱浓度的增加,累积发芽率呈递减趋势。说明盐碱胁迫会抑制植物种子的发芽、降低种子的活力。但是,碱茅的变化规律与之相反。(2)十种植物种子具有不同的耐盐碱能力,红豆草种子的耐盐碱性最强、幼苗的生长状况最佳;其次是高羊茅;而霞草是十种植物材料中耐盐碱性最弱、幼苗长势最差的种类。(3)盐碱逆境不但降低了草坪草与宿根花卉种子的发芽率,而且会导致幼苗萌发延迟,抑制幼苗地上和地下部分的生长。在根系相对比较幼嫩的时候,地下部分对盐碱胁迫更加敏感。(4)土壤播种试验结果与实验室播种试验进行比较,发现两者存在一定的差异性。但可以清楚地看出随着盐碱浓度的提高,实验室中的发芽率结果与土壤实验结果的差异性会逐渐上升。
