例谈数学概念的探究教学法

摘要:数学是一门以抽象思维为主的学科,而概念又是这种思维的语言。概念教学是中学数学中至关重要的一项内容,是基础知识和基本技能教学的核心,正确理解概念是学好数学的基础,学好概念是学好数学最重要的一环。初中数学中有大量的概念,它是数学基础知识的重要组成部分,也是导出数学定理和数学法则的逻辑的基础。由于概念本身具有的严密性、抽象性和明确规定性,教学中往往比较重视培养思维的逻辑性和精确性,在方式上以“告诉”为主让学生“占有”新概念,置学生于被动地位,使思维呈依赖性,这不利于创新型人才的培养。因此,为了使学生正确地掌握数学的基础知识,并在实际中应用这些知识,使学生形成正确的数学概念,教学方法尤为重要。在某种意义上来说,比数学概念的定义本身更重要。
