本文力图从媒体集团化的发展趋势出发，以新闻媒体所肩负的社会责任论、在拟态环境的塑造方面的作用为基础，结合当代社会近期发生的新闻事件和新闻报道实例，主要从微观角度：个体事件的报道、宏观角度：媒体与政府、受众、开发商三者的关系和制度改革、行业监督、法律法规两个角度着手，试图探究出新闻平衡报道的切实有效的做法，给当代新闻事业以积极的借鉴作用。
