要使口语测试准确地反映考生的实际口语能力 ,在教学中发挥它的指导作用 ,促进学习者口语水平的提高 ,就必须保证试题设计的科学性 ,判分的可行性和可靠性 ,保证对被测试者的语言能力做出准确、公正的测量。国外对外语口语测试的研究和实践起步较早 ,已做了大量的工作。本文在研究了近 10年来外语测试及外语学习研究期刊的有关文献的基础上 ,对口语考试的效度和信度研究作出综述 ,结合国内的英语口试研究和实践现状 ,提出改进工作的建议。
